A miniscule dictator in a glass house

“Too Many windows!”  The short powerful man exclaimed! “I want them all covered, no square inch for anyone to see inside my new palace!” Norton was a generous man that is until his wife croaked. They were going to rule the empire together. Late last year, Mona, his wife, grew drastically ill. It was assured that her heart failed and no barber in the east castle would perform such an operation without a hefty bill. Norton denied it. He was a stingy man who loved his money more than his country. Last night he became depressed. He began descending in an abyss so deep that light could not escape it. He grew tired of daylight, he loathed the sun. So, after returning to his castle after the anniversary of her death, he wanted every window covered. But rugs and banners and old parchment wouldn’t save him as he pummeled all of his servants with stones. Stones, they say, shouldn’t be thrown in a glass house, or castle that is.
